Now that Vivek Oberoi's flagging acting career shows some signs of revival, after his latest release Prince, which fared averagely at the box-office, and his forthcoming Rakta Charitra and Mani Ratnam's Bloody Paki, the actor is in no mood to take a wrong step. Vivek expressed some qualms about starring opposite Chitrangada Singh in Bloody Paki, which resulted in her being replaced by Genelia D'Souza. The film is set against the backdrop of the recent London attacks. It is being directed by Shiva, Mani Ratnam's assistant in Dil Se and Raavan. Our source said, The makers were considering Chitrangada for the romantic lead opposite Vivek. Though director Shiva thought Chitrangada was perfect for the role, she is no longer in the film. Commenting on the qualms Vivek had, the source added, Vivek is not ready to work with Chitangada as he feels she looks older than him. The filmmakers had to replace Chitrangada with the younger Genelia. Vivek was not reachable but his manager said, Vivek has no problem about working with either Chitrangada or Genelia as both are very talented actresses. Eventually, it's the producer and director who decide the leading lady of the film. Chitrangada, who is holidaying abroad, denied the story. We sent a text to Genelia but she was unavailable for comment. Director Shiva, who seems to be unaware of the recent development, insisted that Chitrangada is still in the film.
