Descripción de Boegehold's "Oscillations":
Senior West Virginia University composition and trumpet performance major Evan Boegehold performs his piece "Oscillations" during a New Music Concert at WVU in the fall of 2010. ""Oscillations" was written for a selection of eighteen handbells with electro-acoustic accompaniment. The term "oscillation" means to "swing like a pendulum," which is demonstrated in both the handbell part and the ectronic accompaniment as textures "swing" in and out of each other. The electronic accompaniment is constructed of both digitally manipulated bell/handbell sounds and originally created sounds." - concert program notes
